BJP government will fall after June 1 voting, claims Abhishek Banerjee
In the aftermath of Cyclone Michaung, unusual scenes unfolded on the waterlogged streets of Chennai as live fish were spotted swimming in the flooded areas.
A video that has gone viral on social media captured citizens engaging in impromptu fishing activities, despite the struggling fish trying to stay afloat. Shockingly, one individual was recorded inhumanely kicking a fish out of the water before taking it away, presumably for consumption. This incident occurred near the Software Technology Parks of India in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The cyclonic storm, which hit the north Tamil Nadu coasts, brought heavy rainfall and widespread waterlogging, causing disruptions in transportation and affecting various areas. Prior to this unusual fishing event, another bizarre sighting was reported when a mugger crocodile was spotted on the streets of Chennai, escaping a nearby lake due to the cyclonic storm.

In response to the damages caused by Cyclone Michaung, the Tamil Nadu government has sought an interim relief of Rs 5,060 crore from the Centre. Meanwhile, concerns about the impact of such extreme weather events on wildlife and the human response to these situations have sparked discussions regarding environmental awareness and humane treatment of animals.
